Russian and Laotian servicemen prepared for the second phase of the Laros 2024 joint Russian-Laotian military exercise at the Sergeyevsky training ground in Primorsky region.
During the second phase of the exercise, which is to be held on 26 September. The joined group of the Eastern Military District and Laos will fulfil the tasks to chase, block, and neutralise manpower and hardware of the mock enemy, deliver an air strike to hit manpower and military hardware.
Special forces units, tanks, and infantry combat vehicles, flame thrower units, artillery and Igla MANPADS crews, as well as Russian Aerospace Forces ground-attack and army aviation will be involved in the drills.
Tactical airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Russia and the Lao People's Army will also be deployed as part of joint assault groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
