Baltic Fleet ships repel mock air strike during scheduled drills
23.09.2024
The Baltic Fleet's naval base hosted a scheduled joint training. It included repelling an enemy air attack. On-duty shifts of command and control centres, shipborne air defence posts, and naval aviation were involved in the drills.
Small missile ships and boats, as well as small anti-submarine ships and minesweepers were involved in the training on repelling a mock air attack. In total, the drills involved more than 10 surface ships of the Baltic Fleet's base.
The enemy was simulated by Su-30SM multi-role fighter jets and Baltic Fleet's Ka-27 naval helicopters.
