
CSTO CRRF prepares to perform joint operation during Interaction 2024, Search 2024, and Echelon 2024 drills

The second plan of the Interaction 2024 command post exercise, Search 2024 and Echelon 2024 drills, during which a joint operation of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CRRF) to resolve an armed conflict in the Central Asia region was prepared.
The most important stage of the drills was developing the plan of the joint operation.
Colonel Samat Seydaliyev, Commander of the CSTO CRRF, a representative of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and commander of the 8th Order of Lenin Red Banner Order of Suvorov Guards Motorised Rezhitsky Division named after I.V. Panfilov, organised the work of the officers of the CSTO CRRF command to prepare the relevant proposals and develop a plan for the joint operation.
The plan approved by the training leadership became the basis for the decision of the Commander of the CSTO CRRF to conduct a joint operation, the main objectives of which are to repel aggression, block and destroy illegal armed formations, their training camps and bases, and resolve the situation along the state border line.
At the moment, the CSTO CRRF Command has worked out the planning of a joint operation, the organisation of command, cooperation, and comprehensive support. Combat tasks are being assigned and combat work is being organised at the command posts of CSTO CRRF units and subunits. Practical training for the joint operation is being carried out at the firing range.
On the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, under the leadership of Colonel Artur Temirov, First Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Interaction 2024 command post exercise with the CSTO CRRF, the Search 2024 special drills with reconnaissance units and means, and the Echelon-2024 special drills with logistical units and means are being conducted.
Contingents of the CSTO troops (Collective Forces) of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan are taking part in the exercise. These include military contingents, formations of special operations forces from among the special units of the internal affairs (police), security and special services bodies, authorized bodies in the sphere disaster relief, as well as operational groups of the CSTO Joint Staff and the Secretariat. Up to 1,500 servicemen and 300 units weaponry, military and special hardware, including aircraft, different types of UAV, combat boats, and air defence means are involved in the drills.
