Army Aviation pilots of Southern MD's military base in Republic of Armenia undergo training flights

MiG-29 multi-role fighter jet crews of the Operational-Tactical Aviation of the Southern MD's military base in the Republic of Armenia took part in training flights, during which they improved their piloting skills.
Before the drills, the pilots received pre-flight instructions from the airbase command, and after permission to take off and take a seat in the aircraft, the servicemen began to perform tasks solo and in pairs.
The crews practised elements of simple and complex piloting, as well as aerobatics. Elements of aerobatics were performed over Erebuni airfield. The pilots also performed flights on specified routes, including in mountainous terrain.
In addition, the pilots practised cooperation with flight command teams and logistics units.
More than 120 servicemen of the Southern MD were involved in the training flights, as well as about 20 units of military and special equipment, including MiG-29 multi-role fighters.
