Northern Fleet's detachment conducts anti-robot exercise in Arctic

The large anti-submarine ship Vice Admiral Kulakov, heading the Northern Fleet's detachment, conducted an anti-robot exercise with a detachment of ships in the waters of the Kara Sea in the Arctic.

According to scenario, ships and vessels of the Northern Fleet's detachment were attacked by uncrewed surface vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The event involved AK-100, AK-630 artillery batteries, large-calibre machine-guns and small arms that trained fighting against mock enemy uncrewed surface vehicles as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.

All tasks of the training were fulfilled, the personnel showed excellent teamwork and high professionalism.

The combat exercises were carried out in accordance with safety requirements and the training zone was closed for aviation and navigation.

The detachment includes the large anti-submarine ship Vice Admiral Kulakov, from which the forces are controlled, the large landing ship Aleksandr Otrakovsky, the rescue tugboat Altay, and the tanker Sergei Osipov.
