23.08.2024
During a field trip of the Northern Fleet's Separate Missile Formation equipped by Bastion coastal missile systems, the crews deployed the launchers on the coast of the Barents Sea.
Units of the Separate Missile formation marched from temporary deployment areas stationed at the Rybachy Peninsula.
During the march, the missile men practised all types of support from organising security to air defence and passed through conditionally contaminated areas using individual and collective protection equipment.
In the course of the drills, the Bastion coastal missile system crews deployed on the coast, where servicemen train to deliver strikes electronically at the mock enemy ship detachment. After completing the exercise, the combat vehicles change positions.
The drills undergo according to the planned inspection of combat readiness.
