Ships for the close protection of a sea area of the Pacific Fleet fleet undergo air defence drills in the base of operations in Vladivostok
Air defence crews trained to prepare OSA SAM systems and AK-630 artillery system to fire to repel mock enemy air attacks, including small-size reconnaissance and attack unmanned aerial vehicles.
The personnel practise destroying aerial targets by 12.7-mm Utyos high-calibre machine guns at the different hights and distances.
The exercise was carried out in accordance with the Pacific Fleet's combat training plan. Time standards for classifying targets and making air defence assets ready for combat use were met with a rating of 'good'.
