
Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Tsivileva visits Southern Military District

Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Tsivileva checked the housing fund for military personnel in Stavropol Krai during a working visit to the troops of the Southern Military District. She visited a military town in Stavropol and spoke to the families of the soldiers.
'Our mission was to look at the housing conditions of the Russian Ministry of Defence. We are interested in housing for Russian servicemen who sign contracts with the Ministry of Defence,' Anna Tsivileva said.
In addition, the Russian Deputy Minister of Defence inspected the repair and maintenance of the Military Hospital No. 1602 in Stavropol during a working visit.
As the contractor's representative informed the Deputy Minister of Defence, the repair and maintenance of the hospital's four building will be completed by 1 January 2025.
'We will complete the work by 1 January. We have no other option. We understand how important this is now,' said a representative of the contracting organisation.
As part of the ongoing work, it was planned to carry out major repairs to the treatment and surgery building, treatment and reception department, therapeutic and infectious buildings.
'We are counting on you. You have extensive experience of construction, of rapid construction of facilities for the medical needs of the Russian Defence Ministry. Don't let us down,' Anna Tsivileva replied.
Anna Tsiveleva inspected rifle galleries, both of mock format equipped with special laser guns, assault rifles, and rifles, as well as those were combat arms are used. She also assessed the Centre's training facilities for training in tactical medicine and piloting of unmanned aerial vehicles. The Centre n.a. Hero of Russia Nikita Gusev is the first institution in the Stavropol region which provides supplementary education in the field of military sports training and patriotic education. The Centre was established by the administration of Stavropol Krai, with the support of the Regional Ministry for National Policy and Cossack Affairs.
It trains school graduates, students of higher education, citizens in reserve, and those who choose to join the military. As a result of the vote, the residents named the centre after Nikita Gusev, a hero of the Russian Federation, killed in action in the special military operation.
