ARMY 2024 Forum shows robotics adapted to real combat conditions
14.08.2024
Robotic systems presented at the ARMY 2024 Forum were tested in the special military operation zone and adapted with modification to real combat conditions. Chief of the Artificial Intelligence Technology Development Directorate of the Russian Defence Ministry Colonel Vasiliy Yelistratov said that on the sidelines of the ARMY 2024 Forum.
'These robotic systems presented at the ARMY 2024 Forum at all booths without exception especially at the Peoples' Defence Industry cluster were tested and used in the special military operation zone. Taking into the account the feedback from the servicemen who used that hardware, it was adapted to real combat conditions and this feedback was for the better,' he said.
Vasiliy Yelistratov pointed out that considering the use of electronic warfare means, remote-controlled systems work with insufficient effectiveness, and developers use intelligent technologies and artificial intelligence to make these systems autonomous.
'In fact, due to experience acquired during the special military operation, we develop technologies to achieve everlasting peace,' he added.
