
Baltic Fleet ships complete unofficial visit to Cuba

The Baltic Fleet ship detachment of the frigate Neustrashimy, training ship Smolniy, and tanker Yelnya completed an unofficial visit to Havana port of the Republic of Cuba.
The ship detachment of the Baltic Fleet completed the programme of the unofficial visit to the Havana. At the moment, the Baltic Fleet ships went to sea and set a course for the designated area of the Atlantic Ocean, where the detachment will continue to perform tasks according to its purpose.
The ships of the Baltic Fleet stayed in the Cuban port from 27 July. During the visit to Havana, the Baltic Fleet sailors had an opportunity to rest from the voyage and performed maintenance of the ships. Moreover, the servicemen met with Cuban sailor, went on several tours around the city and got acquainted with the sightseeings of the Cuban capital. In addition, the sailors visited each others' mess decks. The training ship Smolniy and frigate Neustrashimy were open for residents and guests of Havana.
After going to sea, the Baltic Fleet ships are to continue to perform tasks according to the plan of the long-distance voyage.
