10.07.2024
Crews of the destroyers Zelenodolsk, Urengoy, and Kazanets of the Baltic Fleet underwent planned tactical drills on searching and destroying the mock enemy submarine using antisubmarine weaponry at the naval training grounds at the Baltic Sea.
According to the combat training plan, the crews of the destroyers Zelenodolsk, Urengoy, and Kazanets of the Baltic Fleet practised an attack on the mock enemy submarines by launching torpedoes. The drills took place at the Baltic Fleet's naval training grounds close to the coastline of Kaliningrad region.
Live fires at the underwater target were performed with practical ammunition - ordinary torpedoes without a warhead, which after the combat exercise were found and lifted out of the water by the crew of the torpedo boat.
