
Baltic Fleet pilots launch a massive strike at mock enemy targets in Kaliningrad region

The Baltic Fleet's Su-30SM2 multi-purpose fighter jets carried out high-precision bombing and striking attacks in Kaliningrad region as part of a planned exercise.
During the exercise, the Su-30SM-2 multi-purpose fighter jet pilots honed skills in providing fire support to the ground units, destroying entrenched command posts, a cluster of armoured vehicles and enemy manpower.
After the revealing the situation on the ground, the pilots flew into a designated area and carried out pinpoint bombing at the full-size targets using OFAB-250-270 and OFAB-100-120 bombs. The pinpoint bombing was carried out at altitudes of 900-2,000 metres and speeds of up to 1,000 km/h at the target field at the aviation training ground in the eastern part of Kaliningrad region.
The exercise involved about 10 Baltic Fleet's Su-30SM-2 crews and over 100 maintenance specialists.
