Within the framework of inspection of military units of the Pacific Fleet, the head of the Russian military department together with the Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyaka visited the construction site of the housing fund for servicemen and heard reports of the garrison command and representatives of the developer.

The Russian Defence Minister pointed out that it was impossible to delay the construction period and ordered to intensify work on five unfinished high-rises.

Andrei Belousov noted that decisions on the source of funding for the measures have been taken and the necessary instructions have been given.

The head of the Russian military department was reported that two houses will be built by the end of the year, and two more will be completed in July 2025.

In addition, it is necessary to put into operation in July this year a residential building for 190 flats, the construction of which is currently being completed. The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation inspected all the facilities personally.

Andrei Belousov also paid particular attention to the development of social infrastructure in the neighbourhood. Oleg Kozhemyaka said that it is currently planned to build a school for 1,125 children, a fitness and health complex and two kindergartens in the neighbourhood.

In addition, the Russian Defence Minister drew attention to the existence of complaints by residents of already built houses about the work of management companies. He instructed to create a working group of representatives of the responsible departments of the military department, the region, management companies and the tenants themselves.

The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation noted that all appeals of residents of the houses of the Ministry should be worked out and assessed the actions of management companies that service the facilities.

'When the first of these houses is occupied, servicemen participating in the special military operation and members of their families should be provided with housing as a priority,' Andrei Belousov added.
