Baltic Fleet surface action group train to search for and eliminate ships and vessels of mock enemy at sea
23.05.2024
The Baltic Fleet surface action group made up of the small missile ships Odintsovo and Naro-Fominsk of the Baltic Naval Base, have undergone training for detecting ships and vessels of a mock enemy in the Baltic Sea. After practising the search tasks, the Kalibr missile teams carried out electronic launches against the identified maritime targets.
As a result of electronic launches, all the assigned targets were successfully hit, as was confirmed by objective control systems.
During training events, ships crews also practise joint manoeuvring and perform a range of anti-ship and anti-submarine defence measures.
