
Baltic Fleet's surface action group conduct artillery live-fire drills

The Baltic Fleet's naval attack groups, consisting of small missile ships Serpukhov and Naro-Fominsk, missile ships Chuvashya, Dimitrovgrad, and Morshansk have performed combat training missions in the Baltic Sea in accordance with the combat training plan.
While at sea, the crews of ships and boats conducted joint artillery live-fire drills on maritime surface and air targets. The target was a towed ship's shield and anchored air probes. Practical firings were conducted with the use of 30-mm AK-630 six-barrel, AK-190 and AK-176 artillery systems as well as large-calibre machine guns.
After artillery firing, the ship's crews performed tasks of firing at moving mines, combat elements of repelling attacks of high-speed small targets, electronic warfare and communications exercises.
