20.03.2024
The Pacific Fleet's detachment comprising of corvettes Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Zydenzhapov, Gromky, and Sovershenny underwent complex drills with artillery live fires in the Peter the Great Bay and in the Sea of Japan.
During the drills, the ships' crews gradually repelled the attacks of mock enemy unmanned aerial vehicles and raid drones, eliminated sabotage danger, and conducted ship-based damage control training.
During a stage of the drills, the corvettes Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Zydenzhapov, Gromky, and Sovershenny searched for a mock enemy submarine. Having detected an unidentified submarine, the corvettes practised the tactics of pursuit, then forced the crew of the submarine to surface.
The exercise was carried out in accordance with the Fleet's combat training plan.
