13.03.2024
The corvette Gremyashchy of the Pacific Fleet is conducting scheduled exercises with artillery live-fire in the Peter the Great Bay.
The drills are carried out according to the Fleet's combat training plan in one of the sea training areas as part of passing the K-2 course task.
Artillery live-fire will be conducted at sea and air targets during the exercise. The strikes will be launched by the AU A-190 artillery and the AK-630M anti-aircraft missile systems.
A naval target will be used to simulate the surface ship of the mock enemy. The air target will be designated as a special lighted simulator on a parachute that will be dropped off a Pacific Fleet naval aircraft.
The corvette Gremyashchy's crew is passing the K-2 course task before the ship moves to a permanent base in Kamchatka.
