12.02.2024
A planned flight and tactical exercise with a squadron of Mi-24 attack helicopters of the Baltic Fleet's naval aviation began in the Kaliningrad region. More than 10 helicopter crews are taking part in the drills.
During the drills, the crews will have to perform about 50 scheduled sorties, make bombing runs, and practice strikes against sea and land targets using rocket and cannon weaponry. While fulfilling the assigned tasks, the crews will practice elements of simple and complex piloting, perform tasks of fire support of the fleet's coastal troops while eliminating illegal armed formations.
