Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system crews of Baltic Fleet practise counterstrikes

12.02.2024

In the Kaliningrad region, as part of an exercise by the missile troops and artillery of the Baltic Fleet army corps, Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system crews practised counterattacks on enemy positions.

After passing through sections of conditionally contaminated terrain, overcoming artificial and natural obstacles, the crews arrived at the designated area, where they carried out engineering preparation and camouflage of new positions. After putting the Iskander-M anti-missile defence system into a combat position, the servicemen carried out electronic missile launches. In order to avoid a second attack by the conditional enemy, the crews performed a manoeuvre to change positions.

More than 100 servicemen took part in the training and about 10 pieces of military and special hardware were involved in the exercises of the Baltic Fleet army corps missile formation.
