Destroyer Admiral Tributs (Pacific Fleet) passes through Singapore Strait to enter South China Sea

The destroyer Admiral Tributs (Pacific Fleet) has passed through the Singapore Strait and entered the waters of the South China Sea as part of its tasks in the Asia-Pacific region.

The destroyer Admiral Tributs continues to operate in the region according to the plan of a long-distance voyage.

During the passage through the Singapore Strait, the destoyer's crew carried out a training exercise to navigate the area with heavy shipping traffic. During the narrow passage of the destroyer Admiral Tributs, measures were taken to increase the battle readiness of the personnel, which included measures to ensure safe manoeuvres in a heavy traffic area.

Currently, the Admiral Tributs is crossing the South China Sea.

The Pacific Fleet's detachment consisting of the Admiral Tributs, Admiral Panteleyev, and medium sea tanker Pechenga left Vladivostok on 7 October 2023.
