Baltic Fleer's Iskander-M mobile short-range ballistic missile systems carry out a missile strike training exercises
24.11.2023
As part of a planned tactical exercise of a missile unit equipped with Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems, Iskander-M crews practised launching group missile strikes at critical facilities of the mock enemy.
In the course of the exercises, after receiving the signal Iskander-M crews made a covert march to the designated area on soil roads and rugged terrain, overcoming natural obstacles, mock contaminated areas and manoeuvring in limited space. Having received the coordinates, the Baltic Fleet's Iskander-M missile systems practised launching group missile strikes at the critical facilities of the mock enemy, carrying out electronic launches of cruise missiles.
The combat training event was a planned exercise. About 100 servicemen and over ten units of military and special equipment were involved in the exercise.
