16.11.2023
The crew of the corvette Rezkiy of the Pacific Fleet held a training exercise on detection and destruction of the mock enemy submarine in Peter the Great Bay.
According to the concept of the exercise, signs of an unidentified submarine were found in the water area of the bay.
The crew of the corvette, which was at sea at the time, received a command to immediately proceed to the area where the underwater target was being searched.
As a result of the search for the underwater object, in cooperation with anti-submarine aircraft, an enemy submarine attempting to evade pursuit was detected.
The combat crews of the corvette Rezkiy established constant contact with the submarine and conditionally destroyed it with torpedo weapons.
The combat training event was conducted at a maritime training range in Peter the Great Bay in accordance with the concept for the crew of the corvette Rezkiy to pass elements of the second course task K-2.
The role of the enemy submarine was played by a diesel-electric submarine of the Varshavyanka project of the Pacific Fleet.
