Russian Deputy Defence Minister Aleksandr Fomin takes part in ADMM-Plus

Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Colonel General Aleksandr Fomin took part in the 10th ADMM-Plus (ASEAN Defence Ministers and Dialogue Partners), which was held on 16 November 2023 in Jakarta (Republic of Indonesia).
In his speech at ADMM-Plus, Colonel General Aleksandr Fomin brought Russian approaches to key security issues in the world and the Asia-Pacific region.
At the event, the ASEAN countries confirmed their readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation in key areas of mutual interest.
Within the framework of the meeting, Colonel General Aleksandr Fomin had bilateral meetings with the heads of the defence ministries of Laos, Brunei, Indonesia, and the Secretary-General of ASEAN. In these meetings, the parties deliberated on matters pertaining to bilateral military cooperation and the potential for collaboration within the framework of regional multilateral formats, primarily ADMM-Plus.
