The Pacific Fleet detachment including two submarine chasers Ust-Ilimsk and MPK-107 underwent anti-submarine drills and performed torpedo live fires in Avacha Bay waters.
In the course of the drills, servicemen performed tasks on searching, locating, and neutralising a mock enemy submarine.
According to the drills plan, two submarine chasers Ust-Ilimsk and MPK-107 detected unidentified submarine target and pinpointed its location. The ships then practised elements of pursuit and naval combat with the submarine in conditions of active opposition from the mock enemy.
According to the results of the drills, the personnel fulfilled all training and combat tasks coherently and competently. The exercise was carried out in accordance with the Fleet's combat training plan.
