On his way back from Perm, Vladimir Putin visited the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don.

Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov reported to the President on the progress of the special military operation. The President also spoke with representatives of the Defence Ministry's top leadership.
