Sergei Shoigu meets with counterpart from the Republic of South Sudan

Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu has held a meeting with Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs Gen. Chol Thon Balok.
During the meeting, they discussed promising projects for cooperation in the defence sphere and exchanged views on topical regional security issues.
The parties noted the importance of partnership between the military departments of Russia and South Sudan for ensuring security and stability in Central Africa, and agreed on further joint steps to develop bilateral relations in the military sphere.
