Two Tu-95ms long-range strategic missile carriers performed planned flight in airspace over the neutral waters of the Sea of Japan. Fighter escort was provided by crews of Aerospace Forces' Su-30sm and Su-35s aircraft.
The flight was carried out in strict accordance with the international rules for the use of airspace.
Long-Range Aviation pilots regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, the North Atlantic, the Black and Baltic seas, and the Pacific Ocean.
