Two Tu-160 strategic bombers perform a planned 8-hour flight over the Sea of Barents and the Arctic Ocean neutral waters.
Russian Aerospace Forces Su-35S fighter jets escorted strategic bombers.
'The flight was performed in strict compliance with the International Airspace Regulations', said Commander of Russian Long-range aviation Lieutenant-General Sergei Kolybash.
'Long-range aviation pilots perform flights over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean on a regular basis', he noted.
