
Northern Fleet's minesweeper Vladimir Gumanenko enters the Sea of Barents for artillery drills

Today, the minesweeper Vladimir Gumanenko of Kola Flotilla of the Northern Fleet entered the Fleet's firing ranges for drills. The minesweeper crew will undergo a number of artillery firing drills to repel aero-naval attacks of a mock enemy.
Apart from that, the minesweeper crews will carry out a number of artillery firing exercises against sea and imitated air targets, as well as against targets simulating floating mines.
In addition, the сrew will practice the tasks of eliminating contingent damage to the ship's weapon systems and technical equipment on the move, as well as ways of damage control at sea.
Shortly after completing tasks during the drills, the minesweeper will return to the permanent base in Polyarny.
