
Pacific Fleet corvette Gromky passes the Singapore Strait

During the assigned missions in the Asia-Pacific Region, the corvette Gromky of the Pacific Fleet has traveled across the Singapore Strait and into the Strait of Malacca.
The sailors of the corvette Gromky took up their positions at their battle stations after a combat readiness exercise. The staff practiced manoeuvering safely through the bottleneck with heavy traffic during the training. Later, the ship practiced repelling a maritime saboteur attack in the Strait of Malacca.
According to the Pacific Fleet's approved plan, the corvette Gromky performs missions in the Asia-Pacific region. The medium-sized marine tanker Pechenga and the corvette Sovershennyy are on a long-range sortie.
