
Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov pays official visit to Iran

Commander-in-Chief Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov of the Russian Navy, paid an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the course of the visit, Nikolai Yevmenov met with the Commander of the Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, as well as several other senior military officials.
During the meeting, the naval cooperation and the exchange of experience between the two countries' navies were discussed.
The visit of the Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief included a number of protocol events and ceremonies, visits to naval training institutes, naval bases of the Iranian Navy and enterprises of the military-industrial complex.
According to the both sides, the visit by the Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov demonstrates the high level of naval interaction and cooperation achieved between Russia and Iran.
