
Kolsky Flotilla ships successfully complete tasks during drills in the Barents Sea

Kolsky Flotilla minesweeper vessels of the Russian Northern Fleet successfully completed tasks during drills at firing ranges located in the Barents Sea.
Minesweeper vessels Yadrin and Solovetskiy Younga also executed tasks during the drills.
During such special drills, the minesweeper vessels were responsible for mine clearing in the region, where small antisubmarine vessel Brest set mines.
The minesweeper vessels' crews are to run small caliber artillery target practice at the last part of the drills.
Shortly after the drills, the minesweepers will continue to operate in the coastal zone of the Barents Sea to increase combat readiness of crews and practice interaction as part of the minesweeping group.
