
Alexey Kuzmenkov was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics

MOSCOW, 30 April. /TASS/. Colonel General Alexei Kuzmenkov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation for Logistics (MTO). This was reported to journalists on Sunday in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"Colonel-General Alexei Kuzmenkov has been appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, responsible for the logistics of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the ministry said.
It is noted that Kuzmenkov graduated from the Volsk Higher Military School of Logistics in 1992 and until 2019 he served in various positions in the logistics bodies of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation.
From 2014 to 2018, he headed the MTO headquarters of the RF Armed Forces. From 2018 to 2019, he was the Deputy Commander of the Southern Military District for Logistics. Since 2019, he has been Deputy Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation - Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.
