Comment by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Russia's readiness to continue delivering domestic defence industry products to partner countries including uninterrupted maintenance and repairs despite the sanctions pressure by the United States and its allies

We are currently noting heightened activity on the part of the US government's emissaries who, among other things, are operating via US embassies in foreign states and exerting undisguised pressure on the military-political leadership of countries whose armed forces and security agencies use Russian and Soviet aircraft and helicopters to stop using them and to transfer them to the Kiev regime via pro-Western intermediaries.
They are using the following main argument, namely, ill-intentioned statements that the Russian Federation is allegedly unable to provide high-quality maintenance or components and parts for repairs.
We can state with full responsibility that Russia will unfailingly fulfil all the relevant obligations on current and future projects, with regard to its partners.
We would also like to note that indeed, shipments of special-purpose Russian items were delayed in some rare cases. However, this situation is a consequence of the unprecedented sanction threats by the "collective West" with regard to international shipping companies cooperating with Russia.
This is yet another undisputable fact of unfair competition from the United States and its allies. In trying to eliminate Russian equipment from foreign markets, the Americans are simultaneously imposing their own equipment on our partners and are thus defending the interests of the US defence industry, first.
