On September 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The ministers exchanged views on key international topics and spoke in favour of continuing close cooperation in the UN, including in the context of Mexico's work in the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member in 2021-2022.
