On September 23, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua Denis Moncada Colindres on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The parties praised the dynamics of political dialogue and the close nature of interaction between our countries in the international arena in order to protect the principles of international law, the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
The ministers noted mutual readiness for further building up the entire range of bilateral ties in the spirit of strategic partnership.
