On September 22, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of Panama Erika Mouynes on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
The ministers assessed the current state of the Russian-Panamanian relations and reaffirmed their intention to strengthen cooperation in trade and the economy, as well as cultural and humanitarian ties, and to expand the two countries' contractual and legal framework.
Sergey Lavrov and Erika Mouynes exchanged views on a number of international issues.
