On September 22, 2022, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The ministers discussed promising areas of Russia-Hungary trade and economic cooperation and practical aspects of boosting energy interaction in the current unfavourable international situation.
They exchanged views on some areas of the UN's work and on international issues of mutual interest.
