Meeting with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Vladimir Putin and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Samarkand.
Following the talks, both presidents signed a declaration on comprehensive strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The President of Russia also awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky to the President of Uzbekistan.
