The two presidents discussed preparations for the upcoming summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Samarkand this September. In this context, the SCO's high international standing and its growing contribution to strengthening regional stability and security were noted.
Further development of bilateral strategic partnership and alliance was also touched upon.
