
Russian 'Flying Laboratory' Aircraft Conducts First Flight – Developer

According to Vega Radio Engineering Corporation director, Russia-made A100LL early warning and control (AWACS) aircraft has completed its first flight.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russia-made A100LL early warning and control (AWACS) aircraft has completed its first flight, the Vega Radio Engineering Corporation (part of the Rostec United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation) director general Vladimir Verba said Wednesday.
"Today, the first flight of A-100LL flying laboratory, was conducted, which was constructed by Vega corporation developers together with the Beriev Aircraft Company," Verba said.
