Russia to Create Five More Strategic Missile Forces Regiments in 2016

Russian Defense Minister said that five new missile regiments from the Russian Strategic Missile Forces will enter service in 2016.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Five new missile regiments from the Russian Strategic Missile Forces will enter service in 2016, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday.
"Main emphasis should be made on fortifying the potential of the strategic nuclear forces and completing the military-space programs. In 2016, five missile regiments equipped with modern missile complexes should enter the service of the Strategic Missile Forces," Shoigu said during a meeting.
