Russia supplies no military products to Kiev that may be used for aggression - deputy PM

'Even when we do supply something, the items in question are a retrievable potential,' Dmitry Rogozin says

MOSCOW, July 1. /TASS/. Russia has terminated military cooperation with Ukraine back during the anti-government protests in Independence Square and it does not supply to Ukraine any military products that may be used in operations against civilians, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told the State Duma during question time on Wednesday.

Since that moment, Rogozin said, Moscow had been working on detailed import substitution plans.

'When the Ukrainian authorities declared they were terminating military-technical cooperation with Russia that cooperation had already been halted for some time,' Rogozin said.

'Even when we do supply something, the items in question are a retrievable potential,' he said. 'For instance, we make some supplies to the enterprises in Zaporizhia and Nikolayev from which we get manufactures for our civilian products.'

Rogozin explained that the list of those items was very short and observed strictly by Russian and Ukrainian authorities there where strategic interests are at stake.

'But that does not apply to military products,' Rogozin said.
