Putin signs decree to turn arms dealer Rosoboronexport into JSC
29/11/2007 14:18 MOSCOW, November 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's state-controlled arms exporter Rosoboronexport will be transformed into an open joint stock company, following a decree signed by the Russian president, the Kremlin press office said on Thursday.
Under the decree, the government's 100% stake in Rosoboronexport will be transferred to state high-tech corporation Rostekhnologii within six months. The same document excludes Rosoboronexport from the list of strategic enterprises.
Rostekhnologii was established by the Russian president's decree in November 2007 to promote the development, production and export of high-tech industrial products.
