Russian Atomic Energy Agency Chief to visit India

Chief of Russian Federal Atomic Energy Agency, Sergei Kiriyenko will arrive in India on April 6 on a five day visit, it was announced on Monday.
Kiriyenko, who is coming for the first time to India will be accompanied by five-member delegation and also a group of Russian journalists, PTI reports said here quoting Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) Chairman and Managing director S K Jain.
After arriving on April 6 in Mumbai he will visit Trivandrum, a city of Tamil Nadu on April 7. On April 8 and 9 he will review the progress of the Russian supplied two 1,000 MW Atomic power stations at Kundakulam in Tamil Nadu and leave for New Delhi on April 9, evening.
He would leave for Russia the following day.
During his visit, there is a possibility of the two countries negotiating on four more nuclear power plants for Kundakulam nuclear island, Jain added.
