Russian FM: Russia continues talks with Iran over Nuclear cooperation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said here Tuesday that Russia is to continue negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran on nuclear cooperation and is to persuade the country to halt uranium enrichment during the talks.
The Russian foreign minister made the comments in a report to Russia's President Vladimir Putin detailing the results of recent talks with Tehran.
Talks between Iran and Russia on the continuation of uranium enrichment process in Russian soil would be continued in February, he said.
The two sides agreed that an Iranian expert delegation will visit Moscow to continue the talks, he pointed out.
"Iran has declared that it will resume some uranium enrichment activities which is cause for concern," he concluded.
