MOSCOW, March 16 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow and Tbilisi have agreed to arrange negotiations on Russian military bases in Georgia within this month's closing ten days.

Sergei Lavrov, Russia's Foreign Minister, proposed this arrangement while in telephone conference with President Mikhail Saakashvili of Georgia. The agenda will concern base-related problems and prospects to establish a Georgian-Russian anti-terror center.

Today's telephone conference developed the achievements of negotiations made February 17-18, as Mr. Lavrov was visiting Tbilisi, Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in a press statement.

The proposal concerning the date and agenda of upcoming talks came from Russia, stresses the statement.

President Saakashvili approved the initiative and promised to give necessary instructions to Georgian negotiators on military issues, adds the document.
