The Azeri side has officially notified us that a sub-strategic 8 K 14 ground-to-ground missile allegedly fired from the Russian territory blew up near the village of Gymyr, Zagatalsky region, Republic of Azerbaijan at 10:05 on October 1.
The Russian side does not possess information to confirm that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are responsible for the explosion.
We are prepared to carry out a joint investigation into the causes and nature of the incident.
