NATO, CLINTON-YELTSIN MEETING TOP GORE/CHERNOMYRDIN AGENDA
By Rick Marshall USIA Staff Writer - 04 February 1997
Asked about the planned international space station, on which the U.S.
and Russia are collaborating, one official expressed full confidence
in Russia's technical proficiency and cited the very close cooperation
which has occurred between the two countries' space programs to date.
At the same time, however, he noted U.S. concern that there be
"adequate funding on the Russian side ... so that their part of the
space station can remain on track."
