Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today with Republic of Korea (ROK) Foreign Minister Park Jin on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan.
Secretary Blinken congratulated Foreign Minister Park on President Yoon's successful State Visit and noted the importance of cooperating with each other and with other partners to advance the rules-based international order, including by supporting Ukraine.
The Secretary also highlighted the importance of U.S.-Japan-ROK trilateral cooperation and reaffirmed the United States' ironclad commitments to the security of the ROK.
